1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms govern your use of the Baseload app. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
2. Description of the service
Baseload is an endurance sports coaching app that analyzes your training data, computes fatigue and recovery indicators, and offers a program and a daily briefing.
3. Health disclaimer — IMPORTANT (not a substitute for medical advice)
- Baseload is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Its recommendations are informational and sports-related in nature.
- The recommendations do not replace the advice of a healthcare professional. In case of pain, injury, symptoms, or doubt, consult a healthcare professional.
- Consult a doctor before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have a relevant medical history.
- You use the app at your own risk and declare that you are physically fit to perform the activities you record.
- Baseload cannot be held liable for training decisions made on the basis of the information provided, within the limits permitted by law.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 15 years old and fit to engage in physical activity.
5. Account and acceptable use
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the security of your access. You agree not to misuse the app, not to attempt to compromise its security, and not to use it unlawfully.
6. Pricing and subscription
- During the beta phase, the app is FREE.
- A paid subscription plan (auto-renewing subscription, indicative target price ~€6.99/month) may be introduced later. Any pricing change will be communicated to you and will not apply without your agreement. Billing and any renewals will be handled by Apple's App Store under its own terms.
7. Beta nature of the service
The app is provided in a testing (beta) phase "as is". It may contain imperfections, change, or be discontinued. No warranty of availability or of absence of errors is given during this phase, within the limits permitted by law.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its brand, its content, and its code are protected. No transfer of rights is granted to you beyond the right of personal use of the app.
9. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy (Part 1), which forms an integral part of your use of the app.
10. Limitation of liability
Within the limits permitted by law, and without prejudice to the statutory warranties applicable to consumers, Baseload cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the app, nor for training decisions made on the basis of its recommendations (see §3).
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law.
12. Changes
We may modify these Terms. Substantial changes will be notified to you in the app.
